In Time With You

I really loved the story where the male lead loves first. (I guess a girl can dream right???) And this story is basically IT. LOVE CHEN BOLIN for pulling it off so well!!!

Brief overview of the drama: It's basically about 2 best friends, mutually attracted with each other but missed the opportunity due to bad timings. It's has a really simple plot, yet so goooood :)

What so awesome about it: The ACTORS was a really good ensemble. CHEN BOLIN and ARIEL LIN are really awesome actors that can make you feel how they are feeling. I was crying so hard whenever one was heartbroken, or just laughing so hard when one gets jealous of the other getting attached. The directors really choose the right actors, I cannot imagine another actress as Chen You Xi or actor as Li Da Ren. The sorrowful eyes of Chen Bolin and the slightly insecure but strong headed Ariel Lin.

The writing was also really awesome. I liked how they compared an older woman vs mature lady. which really shows that the Li Da Ren really brings the best out of Chen You Xi, in a way which shows growing old vs mature is different.

This drama is one of the few stories which I really really enjoyed unexpectedly. and this show was short and sweet, at 13 episodes, its pretty short for a taiwan drama, but I LOVE the pacing, it gives enough time for the viewers to feel that Li daren really really really love the girl and that chen youxi actually loves him, but friendship is in the way. It's one of the few stories that is so true to many of us, I mean many of us starts of as friends first right??

Recommends: Definitely especially if you love love Ariel Lin and Chen Bolin, Their acting is so good here. And there were many memorable lines too. In Time With You would be a good drama for the older audience, maybe 18 and above  or at least a more mature crowd to truly appreciate the woman to lady portion. and understand friendship vs relationship insecurities.

FYI: There is also a korean remake of the show, The Time We Were Not In Love, which Ha Ji Won and Lee Jin Wook acted. (I watched, same concept of story, but.....)) I recommend watching the Taiwan version more hahaha.
