There are some actors I really love and will watch regardless of the type of drama. Lee Jong Seok is one of them (okay there are really many many many of the actors I love love love) and that is how I stumbled upon I Hear Your Voice. I am not the because fan of noona romances but for the love of Lee Jong Seok, (screw my biasness) go watch the show.
Brief overview of drama: I Hear Your Voice is about Su Ha (by Lee Jong Seok) who can hear peoples' thoughts and Hye Sung (by Lee Bo Yong) a public defender without the sense of justice. The drama covers a series of cases fought by Hye Sung. As she uncovers the secret of the death of Su Ha's father 10 years ago.
What so awesome about it: Lee Jong Suk with SUPERPOWERS!!! isn't it good enough an excuse. But of course not just that. There is also cohabitation of Su Ha and hye Sung. (YEAH to cohabitation hijinks) The development of the relationships between the characters are pretty awesome. Do Yeon (by Lee Da hee) the frienemy, who made the opposite choice 10 years ago and regretted it. One of the best mother and daughter relationships.
The show is about choices in life that you make, its not about making the right choice, but making the best of what you have. All choices come with consequences, it is just making the one you will regret the most. This is one of the few shows it feels like I have grown so much with the characters, from an aspiring lawyer and a skeptical one, how they grow to become a better person in face of the ugly society
Recommends: YES YES YES. Its not your typical rom-com with all fluff. It can get a little heavy with all the cases and the craziest killer around, but stick around and maybe you might grow with them too. And If you love lee Jong Seok.
FYI: the writer of this show is a SHINHWA fan, go and google and you see all the signs of Shinhwa fangirling. (SO awesome, I wish I can do that in my work)
