Healer

With the ongoing drama, the K2 being aired now, I have the urge to go back and marathon all the dramas that Ji Chang Wook was in, and Healer was the most similar feel to the the K2.

My review for the drama might be a little biased as I finished the drama in 3 days (so i didn't have to go through the antagonising wait of understanding the conflict and POLITICS, which can drive me nuts all the tie when a drama is more than rom-com), which was record breaking for me (20 hours in 3 days, 72 hours, including having enough sleep everyday) and I really like Ji Chang wook acting all adorable. He is so dorky cute, the way I like it. Hehehehehehe

Brief Description of the Drama: Healer (played by Ji Chang Wook) is a night courier, the best in his league, with a high price tag, he does all sorts of services that his clients require him too, but draws the line at killing. On one of his jobs, he met Chae Young Shin (played by Park Min Young) being tasked to get information of her. Soon they are pulled into a political warfare where of the previous generation and in a fight for justice.

Ranting on: I watched this show after watching Empress Ki, and was entirely surprised at his acting and how different the roles are. This show is really funny and serious at the same time. And my view could be slightly biased because i started on this show after dramabeans recommendations, so i understood the whole mystery even before i started the show >.<

I actually don't have anything bad to rant on this... since i only remember the good points... hehehe. I LOVE ALL THE ACTORS AND ACTRESS. Everyone seems so tight for the show. Examples of awesome acting:  at the end even when Kim Moon Shik (acted by Park Sang-won) went crazy, I could feel the underlying loneliness and despair. When the mum, Choi Myung Hee (acted by Do Ji Won)first learn of her daughter. The desire and love and hope that shines through her  is so different, from when she didn't know anything. Ji Chang Wook can totally balance the humor/rom-com and action and being dorky. HE IS SO DORKY CUTE acting as some timid coward in front of the girl he likes, to stick close to her and kick-asses behind her back once she is not looking. And not forgetting with his kick-ass ajumma (Min Ja acted by Kim Mi Kyung one of my favorite mum actress heehee).

I need to point out that Kim Moon Ho (acted by Yoo Ji Tae) was a really good actor but was sort of pushed to the daddy long legs seat from day 1, at least I didn't have any serious 2nd lead syndrome.

Recomends: Yes, for Ji Chang Wook acting like a complete dork. And a sorta of good political rom-com. Where everyone is trying to achieve what they want to do, just that some people made the wrong choices.
